Club History

The Wayanad Bikers Club (WBC) was founded to promote cycling as a non-polluting
alternative commuting method as well as a sport event, since it is a way to reduce harmful
emissions that allows you to qualify for global carbon credit, provides physical fitness, and
reduces travel expenses. It is the intent of the Association to abide by the Societies

Registration Act, 1860 (Act XXI of 1860) in all its activities. The word ‘Association’ refers
to the Wayanad Bikers Club in the Memorandum of Association and Rules and
Regulations.

The establishment of Wayanad Bikers Club (WBC) was driven by a profound vision – to
champion cycling as both an eco-friendly mode of transportation and a spirited sport. By
embracing cycling, we aim to play our part in curbing harmful emissions, thereby making
us eligible for global carbon credits. Furthermore, cycling fosters physical well-being and
curtails travel expenditures, aligning perfectly with our commitment to a greener,
healthier world.

Throughout our pursuits, the Association remains steadfast in its dedication to uphold the
principles outlined in the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Act XXI of 1860). Every
endeavor, every initiative, and every stride we take adheres to the framework set forth
by this esteemed legislation. It is important to emphasize that the term ‘Association’
signifies none other than the Wayanad Bikers Club itself, as stipulated in both the
Memorandum of Association and the Rules and Regulations.
With this foundation in place, we forge ahead, propelled by the shared passion for cycling
and the collective drive to make a positive impact. We invite all enthusiasts to join us in
this journey towards a cleaner, fitter, and more sustainable future.
