We embarked on an exhilarating journey to explore the Nilgiri Biosphere, covering two
states and a total of 250 kilometers. The route took us through Kalpetta, Bathery,
Gudalur, and Ooty.

At our Annual General Body Meeting held at Kallat Resort, Kalpetta, we came together
to reflect on our achievements. The event was inaugurated by Kalpetta DYSP Md Sunil.

Our commitment to causes went beyond cycling as we celebrated National Legal Service
Day with a 100-kilometer ride involving 50 participants. The event was inaugurated by
Principal Districts and Sessions Judge A Haris, with Aravind Sukumar IPS, the Wayanad
Police Chief, flagging off the ride.

In partnership with Wayanad Cycling Association and the Legal Service Authority, we
celebrated Forest and Wildlife Week. District Panchayat President Samsahd Marakkar
flagged off this event, emphasizing the importance of conservation.

Covering 100 kilometers from Kalpetta to Thirunelly and back, our Thirunelly Ride was
not just a physical feat but also a journey to a holy destination. We saw the participation
of 10 riders who embraced the challenge.

We took the initiative to nurture young talent by conducting Mountain Bike (MTB)
Selection Trials for students. The trials were held at Kalpetta Elston Estate and
Rattakolly, Kalpetta.

In collaboration with the Olympic Association Wayanad, we organized a ride from
Lakkidi to Ambalavayal to celebrate Olympic Day. This event was a joyful expression of
our support for India’s athletes on their journey to Tokyo.

Continuing our efforts to promote green tourism, we organized the Wayanad Churam
Ride with 10 enthusiastic participants. The ride was not just a physical challenge but also
an opportunity to showcase the beauty of our region.

We kick-started our year with a bang, organizing a Green Election Cycle Rally that
covered 25 kilometers from Kalpetta to Meenagadi and back. The rally aimed to
promote eco-friendly elections. We were honored to have Wayanad District Collector
Dr. Adeela Abdulla IAS inaugurate the event, and our very own Assistant Collector
Balpreeth Singh rode with the team.
